Raft Wars 2 is a browser-based strategy game focused on turn-based projectile combat and tactical aiming across floating platforms. The player controls a small team positioned on rafts and attacks enemy units by launching projectiles with adjustable power and angle. Each session presents structured encounters where the player evaluates distance, terrain height, and enemy placement before taking a shot. The game increases difficulty by introducing tougher opponents, improved enemy weapons, and more complex layouts that punish inaccurate aiming. Coins earned from successful hits allow the player to upgrade weapons and defenses, directly affecting performance in later stages. The gameplay loop centers on planning shots, adapting to changing conditions, and managing limited resources. Progression depends on clearing each encounter efficiently rather than speed, keeping focus on accuracy and decision-making. Players familiar with the original [Raft Wars] can expect expanded encounters and more demanding tactical scenarios.
The objective is to defeat all enemy units in each encounter before your own team gets eliminated. The player succeeds by landing accurate shots that knock opponents off rafts or reduce their health to zero. Failure occurs when all player-controlled characters lose their health or fall into the water. Performance depends on shot efficiency, damage dealt, and smart use of upgrades rather than time limits.
The game runs in a single main mode built around sequential encounters. Each encounter acts as a self-contained challenge with fixed enemy positions and escalating difficulty. Progression moves forward only after clearing the current battle, creating a linear structure where each new stage introduces stronger resistance and demands better precision and planning.

A session begins with the player placed on a raft facing enemy units across the water. The player selects a character, pulls back to aim, and releases to fire a projectile toward enemies. Each turn requires careful adjustment of angle and power to account for distance and elevation. After each shot, enemies respond with their own attacks, forcing the player to adapt positioning and targeting priorities. The player earns coins by landing hits and completing encounters, then spends them between stages to improve weapons or survivability. Mistimed or weak shots waste turns and expose the team to damage. Progression continues by clearing encounters one by one, with failure sending the player back to retry the current stage.
