Granny is a browser-based 3D horror escape game centered on stealth, exploration, and survival within a confined house. The player controls a character trapped inside a locked building while an enemy patrols the space and reacts to sound. The game focuses on careful movement, object interaction, and memory, pushing the player to learn room layouts and item locations through repeated attempts. Each session increases tension as mistakes create noise and immediately attract danger. The difficulty rises naturally as the player explores deeper areas and manages multiple objectives at once. Progress depends on observation rather than speed, rewarding patience and planning. The experience stays intense and focused, encouraging the player to adapt strategies, avoid detection, and slowly work toward escape through trial-and-error gameplay.
The objective is to escape the house by finding required items and unlocking exit paths without getting caught. The player must complete all necessary actions before the enemy captures them. Success depends on avoiding noise, staying hidden, and completing escape conditions within a single session.
Granny uses a single main mode with no selectable levels. The challenge comes from repeated attempts within the same environment, where the player gradually learns safer routes and item locations. Each session resets progress, maintaining consistent tension and difficulty.

The session starts with the player inside a locked house with limited visibility and freedom. The player moves carefully through rooms, searches furniture, and interacts with objects to collect useful items. Every action creates risk, as dropped objects or fast movement can alert the enemy. When danger approaches, the player hides under furniture or retreats to safer areas. Progress requires unlocking doors, disabling obstacles, and remembering safe paths through the house. Failure occurs when the enemy reaches the player, instantly ending the session. Each restart reinforces map knowledge and timing, allowing the player to move more confidently and complete escape steps more efficiently in later attempts.
